2nd Notice – To All Residents

Unfortunately, we are continuing to receive complaints/inquiries about cars parked overnight on the street.

.To reiterate, there are multiple reasons why we ask residents to refrain from doing this.

1.) It can create a safety issue. Emergency vehicles need unencumbered access to our homes without having to maneuver around vehicles.

,p.2.) It is an inconvenience to your neighbors to have to go around cars parked on the street.

3.) Cars left on the street can have a very negative impact on our neighborhood. One car leads to two, which leads to three, and before you know it, our neighborhood is littered with vehicles and our streets begin to look like Loring Lane. And, none of us want that.

Of course everyone understands there are times when overnight street parking is completely unavoidable … like having an overnight guest, out of town company, or work done on your house. All we ask
is that you ensure your hang tag is attached to the rear view mirror
of the car parked on the street. Should a security issue come up, it’s very important cars can be easily identified as belonging in our
neighborhood. However, keep in mind these hang tags are for
short term parking only.

What it comes down to is really quite simple … just be a good, courteous neighbor.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
