To All Residents of Cypresswood Place
In order for our neighborhood to maintain a good overall appearance, all yards need to be cleaned up on a regular basis. Curb appeal and first impressions are important and your individual landscaping plays a
very significant role in how our small community is perceived.
Well maintained and landscaped yards can add anywhere from 5% to 20% to your home’s value, while those unkempt have a very negative impact not only on your own property values but those of the entire neighborhood. Poor landscaping, dead grass, and unhealthy shrubs can send a bad signal.
While Hahn’s takes care of our mowing, it is up to each individual homeowner to ensure their landscaping and flower beds are well maintained. This includes pulling weeds, keeping bushes trimmed, filling in bare spots, and removing and replacing anything that is dead. Adding a fresh layer of mulch or compost will help with weed control. Also, some of your grassy areas may need to be treated for weeds and look for signs of a fungus if you have dead patches.
A recent inspection found several homes with yards in need of some maintenance which is the reason for this reminder. Please…take a good look at your front yard and have any needed work done before the end of the month.
Our next inspection will be May 1st.
Spring is also a great time to spruce up the exterior of your home, power wash your driveway, refinish a sun faded front door, etc.
Pride in ownership is obvious when the residents maintain their homes and care about keeping their neighborhood a desirable place to live.
Thank you for your cooperation.
