As part of the ongoing effort to update our governing documents, primarily to bring them into accord with the changes mandated by the last Texas Legislature, we have decided to simplify our Deed Restrictions by dividing some of its content into a separate document called the “Declaration of Architectural Standards and Restrictions.”
This document will contain the governance required regarding the physical structure of our homes. The extreme example being, if one of our homes were significantly damaged to the point that it required being re-built, these are the standards that will be required for a builder to meet during restoration. Most of this document is taken directly from our existing Deed Restrictions and is not new.
The Deed Restrictions will govern how our properties are used.

The Board is requesting that you review this document, and provide any questions or comments prior to the next Board meeting (February 19th.) We will discuss and attempt to integrate any feedback we’ve receive prior to putting the document up for a vote by the community.
