Over the last few weeks, we have received several inquiries and complaints regarding cars parked on the street. As a result, we wanted to remind everyone of our parking rules in accordance with our Deed Restrictions.
All residents are asked to refrain from parking vehicles overnight on the street. During the day, please make every effort to keep street parking to a minimum. From a safety perspective, emergency vehicles need unencumbered access to our homes without having to maneuver around vehicles parked on the street … this is especially true in cul de sacs as well as the entrance and exit to our subdivision … therefore please keep this in mind at all times.
If you have an occasional overnight guest, please ensure your hang tag is attached to their rear view mirror. Tags are not to be used for anyone that could be considered a part time resident and are for short term use only. From a security perspective, it’s important unfamiliar cars can be easily identified as authorized visitors in our neighborhood.
The following Harris County regulations must be adhered to at
all times:
All vehicles on the street must be parked parallel to a curb (including cul de sacs), in the direction of the traffic, and with the right-hand side of the wheels no further than 18” from the curb.
You must be parked at least 30’ feet from a stop sign.
You must be parked 15’ feet from a fire hydrant.
You cannot block anyone’s access to their driveway.
Finally, please be considerate of your neighbor and following the regulations.
Thank you!
