It is with much sadness I inform you of the passing of former long time resident Gloria Barr on December 24th after a brief illness under hospice care. Gloria moved to St. Catherine’s Village, a retirement community, in Madison, Mississippi to be near her family. She was very active and loved living at St. Catherine’s.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 4th at 2:00pm at Parkway Funeral Home, 1161 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, Mississippi 39157. The burial service will follow in Ridgeland, MS.

Condolences can be sent to her son and his wife, Hugh & Helen Dowling, 62 Eola Trail NE, Brookhaven, MS 39601. She also has a granddaughter, Mandy Milstead, her husband and two children who live nearby as well.

The family requested donations be sent to St. Catherine’s Village Foundation at 200 Dominican Drive, Madison, MS 39110 in memory of Gloria Barr. Also along with the donation specify you would like Hugh & Helen Dowling notified of the donation.
