We have some good news to share.

CenterPoint Energy has offered us the opportunity to upgrade our street lights to LED at NO CHARGE to our neighborhood. The new LEDs will replace the old high pressure sodium lights providing a new updated look for our neighborhood. More importantly, these lights provide better lighting resulting in a more secure, safe neighborhood.

In addition to the enhanced security, these new lights use a lot less energy and therefore cost less to operate which will result in a cost savings. Moreover, they will last longer while providing better, more reliable lighting.

CenterPoint will also be installing a brand new street light at the west corner of Cypress Hill Drive at Piney Hill by the entryway monument.

The transition to LED’s should be completed within the next 7-10 days. The new street light should be installed some time in January.
