There are a couple of grass diseases currently running rampant in Houston. In fact, Channel 13 recently did a news story about it. One is “Take All Patch” and the other is “Web Worm”. BOTH have very similar symptoms and characteristics, (yellowing and brown grass and/or dead patches of grass) and BOTH will destroy your yard if not treated in a timely fashion requiring a costly re-sod. Please take a look at your grass for signs of either one or both. Treatments may be purchased at any local nursery, Home Depot or Lowe’s – or – you can find other options on the internet.
